Nursing jobs offered to help re-open Shropshire hospital

Philip Dunne was on hand to support the campaign on Friday, January 12, which aimed to ensure beds at Bishop’s Castle Community Hospital can reopen. The local NHS trust, ShropCom, is running recruitment days to find sufficient qualified clinical staff to enable the beds at the Powys-border town hospital to reopen. Vacancies at Bishop’s Castle Community Hospital can be viewed through ShropCom’s website at www.shropscommunityhealth.nhs.uk. Mr Dunne previously said: “The strength of local feeling in Bishop’s Castle on this issue has been clear for all to see. So, I stand ready to do whatever I can to support these recruitment efforts, and hope we can recruit sufficient staff to reopen the beds at Bishop’s Castle Community Hospital as soon as possible.”
