A more conventional shot sinks the Raptors last than the halfcourt-plus prayer sunk them a week ago but it was just as effective, wasn’t it? But, they locked into second, there were some good things to come out of the night and Charlotte’s win kept their faint playoff hopes alive and that’s good for them. Lin and Powell – Meeks didn’t get off the bench last night – were singularly unimpressive in Charlotte and I don’t think Nick can, or will, count on either of them to get the job done. And if three or four minutes go by and that night’s choice isn’t getting the job done, time to move on to the next one.
