He later identified Daniel Ashiagbe, 24, an okada rider, as the person who sold the phone to him. The police added that during interrogation, Daniel Ashiagbe admitted to committing the robbery on February 23, 2026. He also stated that he burnt the complainant's diplomatic passport and the other documents in the handbag,” Supt Obeng disclosed. Police investigations further revealed that the suspect had been involved in similar robbery activities in parts of Accra.
