Former D’Tigress coach, Scot Nnaji, is not expecting much from D’Tigers in the men’s basketball event at the forthcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. D’Tigers are in Group B along with Australia and two other teams to be decided at the ongoing Olympic Qualifying tournament in Belgrade. Nnaji, however, believes the team has not had enough time to prepare for the competition, which can hamper their chances. “I think everyone is expecting a better result from both the men and female teams in Tokyo, but I think I trust the women more. For the men, calling over 40 players and hoping to get two teams at this time, I don’t know how that will be managed,” Nnaji told Sunday PUNCH.
