Nova Scotia RCMP is asking for public help after a 100-year-old cross was stolen from a church in Digby. On Tuesday morning soon after 10 a.m., officers responded to a call for a break-and-enter at the Trinity Anglican Church. It was soon discovered than an intruder had stolen the ornate cross, made of brass with a jewel in the centre, from the altar. Police estimate that the break-in occurred between Dec. 23 at noon and Dec. 24 at 10:13 a.m.RCMP is asking members of the public who have information about the incident to immediately contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
