WiakantyThe Rock Hill Community Youth Initiative on October 7 climaxed a one-day peace tournament aimed at promoting peace during and after the elections and bringing young people together, especially first-time voters. The Peace Tournament was a series of engagements initiated by the young inspiring leaders in the Rock Hill Community in collaboration with the community youth leadership. The tournament brought together young people from diverse background, including community leaders in the Rock Hill community in Paynesville, outside Monrovia. The Rock Hill community was divided into four blocks: Block A and B played against Block C and D.At the end of the tournament, Block A&B walked away with LD$2,600, while block C&D finished in the second place with LD$2,000. The youth volunteer also called on Liberians to remain civil as preliminary results are still being announced by the National Elections Commission.
