Until now, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) was giving the online facility only for new vehicles. Insurance policyThe MVD has arrangements on the official website to scan and upload the insurance policy certificate of the motor vehicle and the receipt of the contribution to the welfare fund of the motor vehicle employees. Those unable to print the tax licence even after seven days can approach the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) or the Joint RTO of their area. The details of payment of tax will be made available through email also, the Transport Commissioner added.
