ISLAMABAD: Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza on Friday sought the opinion of members of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) in order to chalk out a comprehensive strategy to launch a nationwide campaign on cleanliness. The minister chaired the first meeting of the task force of the CCI on cleanliness and highlighted the vision of the prime minister on cleanliness, discussing the major contours of the nationwide cleanliness campaign, said a press release. Fehmida Mirza said that the main aim of the meeting was to share, discuss policies and ideas to launch a nationwide campaign to clean Pakistan. He said that the cleanliness campaign will be inaugurated by the prime minister and will be followed by the provincial governments, adding that scale and tempo of this movement will be developed gradually. It will be an all-encompassing campaign, covering all areas from solid waste management to personal hygiene.
