CourtesyOriental art exhibition showcases the classical and the contemporaryThe group painting exhibition titled “Preceptor-Disciple: Disciple-Preceptor” was inaugurated on Friday, January 18, at 5.30 pm at Alliance Française de Dhaka. Professor Nisar Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, and art connoisseurs Abdullah Al Mahmud and Mikhail I Islam, attended the inaugural ceremony as special guests. This is the first group exhibition by Oriental Painting Studio Bangladesh. It features artists Amit Nandi, Malay Bala, and Zahangir Alom, who showcase oriental paintings ranging from the classical to the contemporary. There are around 50 artworks in mixed media in display at this exhibition.
