London, 23 May 2021:Over 170 Tunisian entities from diverse sectors and over 1,200 Tunisian participants arrived in Tripoli yesterday to take part in the Libyan Tunisian Economic Forum: Towards Linking with Africa’. The event, opening today, will continue until 25 May and is being held at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds. Organizers hope Tunisia and Libya could become the gateway for international companies into the sub-Saharan African market. Trade between Tunisia and Libya has decreased to less than one billion dinars (US$ 220 million) from about 3.5 billion dinars (US$ 780 million) before 2010.
