Chairman, Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Oyo State, Mr Akinade Alamu, has tasked the 5000 newly recruited teachers and 700 converted staff on the need to be more productive on the job so as to justify their engagement, especially by Governor Seyi Makinde administration. Noting that the training was to ensure that the teachers are up to speed with the demands of modern teaching, Alamu charged the newly recruited teachers to shun laziness, dishonesty, discrimination and religious bias. While assuring the commitment of the state government to the professional development of teachers, she also urged the recruited teachers to also embrace technology in developing their knowledge and skills.
