Ozamiz mayor, family surrender firearms to PNPCagayan De Oro City – After being included in President Duterte’s infamous list of drug suspects in government, Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog, his daughter Vice Mayor Nova Princess and son Councilor Ricardo surrendered to authorities firearms registered under their names but whose licenses have been revoked by the Philippine National Police (PNP). Serenas added that the Parojinog family was complying with the PNP directive for them to surrender all weapons registered under their names. “This is a fair warning to those in President Duterte’s list, who refused to comply with the order to surrender their firearms. They will face possible arrest for illegal possession of firearms, Serenas said. PNP region 10 Director Chief Superintendent Noel Constantino also stripped Parojinog of his control of the local police force in Ozamiz City.
