TMT file PhotoTHE Public Attorney's Office (PAO) on Monday said it will provide legal assistance to people who felt they were discriminated against for not getting vaccinated against Covid-19. PAO chief Persida Rueda-Acosta said she is ready to support individuals who have experienced work-related discrimination because they are unvaccinated. She said the available Covid-19 vaccines are RNA (ribonucleic acid)-based and she would rather wait for a protein-based vaccine. There is no provision in Republic Act 11525 or the law calling for a Covid-19 vaccination program that says getting jabbed is mandatory, she pointed out.
