Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, that the government attaches great importance to securing adequate financing to meet the state’s essential needs, along with enhancing partnerships with the business community, improving services and implementing a balanced fiscal policy aimed at boosting growth and ensuring financial and economic stability. Madbouly made the remarks during a meeting with Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk to review a number of key ministry files. During the meeting, the finance minister outlined the ministry’s current efforts, noting that the primary objective world be providing necessary funding for the state’s essential needs. Kouchouk reaffirmed commitment to expenditure rationalization measures, alongside increasing allocations for certain sectors to enhance their ability to respond flexibly and effectively to exceptional circumstances. He underscored the government’s keenness on securing citizens’ basic needs and ensure the availability of production inputs for investors.
