Advisor to the Prime Minister on Establishment Affairs Arbab Shahzad, Special Assistant Naeemul Haq and Iftikhar Durrani accompanied the PM on his visit to Peshawar. The prime minister directed authorities concerned to expedite work on FATA reforms and expressed the hope that the people of tribal areas will benefit from these reforms. The meeting was attended by KP Governor Shah Farman and Chief Minister Mehmood Khan. The prime minister assured all possible cooperation from the federal government to the province in the interest of the KP people. In a message issued here, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan had issued instructions to the governor, chief minister and chief secretary not to come to the airport to receive him.
