Photo: PMODHAKA, April 5, 2026 (BSS) - Prime Minister Tarique Rahman today met with family members of July Uprising martyrs and injured individuals present in a visitors' gallery in the parliament here during a break in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) session. Amid his busy schedule of official works, a humane moment unfolded suddenly in the parliament as the Prime Minister went to the gallery during a break in the formal proceedings. Among them, 26 were family members of martyrs, while the rest were injured participants, many of whom are still undergoing treatment, he added. They shared their sorrows and woes with the Prime Minister, Ruman said, adding, the premier listened to each of them with sincerity.
