The incident took place while he was campaigning at Alhaj High School in Ishwardi upazila on Wednesday. Locals said that the BNP candidate and his supporters were preparing for a scheduled rally at the school ground when the assailants vandalized his motorcade and attacked his supporters and party activists. My supporters and other BNP leaders and activists were also injured. They were taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex for treatment.”Local BNP activists rescued the injured and admitted them to the upazila health complex.
