WITH schools being repeatedly closed due to the movement control order, bus operators in Sabah are selling their vehicles to make ends meet, Sin Chew Daily reported. According to the Sabah West Coast School Bus Operators Association chairman Zeng Shi Guang, bus operators have not had work for more than six months since MCO restrictions were introduced last year. Zeng said that as school buses could only ferry students, they could not use it for other business now that schools were closed. However, Zeng said he was comforted that some parents offered to pay the monthly school bus fees even though their services were not needed at present. Some even joked that the bridal kimono, which was white in colour, resembled the traditional Chinese mourning attire.
