A Masterton based charity has had its vehicle stolen twice since the beginning of the year, leaving staff stressed about the future. Parkinson's Wairarapa is one of the many New Zealand charities who get no government funding and rely completely on the generosity of donors. Parkinson's Wairarapa co-ordinator Julia Mahony said the car was stolen in January from outside nurse Julia Flowerday's house and found a few days later in another town. Sutton said police were working to stop the people responsible for the car thefts, and had mad a recent breakthrough with the arrest of a burglary group.
