"Political stability is a key factor in boosting investor confidence," said Poj Aramwattananont, chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Pheu Thai has previously described 2026 as a year of challenges, but from now on the party will adopt the term "Hope 2026" when referring to the country's economic outlook, he said. At the same time, Mr Yodchanan said Pheu Thai's economic team presented the party's policy on promoting "innovation-driven economic growth".
