Cayden Lapcevich, the youngest national racing champion in Canadian history, has been selected to participate in the prestigious NASCAR Next program, it was announced late Tuesday. “Promoters at tracks that are NASCAR-sanctioned, and series directors, send in suggestions of who they think might benefit from this program," he said. As well as taking part in the NASCAR Next program, Lapcevich has other business looming, such as defending his Pinty’s Series championship. “The plan is to run the full NASCAR Pinty’s Series,” he said. “At the same time, I know there’s some really good competition in the Pinty’s Series, so it’ll be tough.
