Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, on Wednesday evening met with President Bola Tinubu at his official residence in Aso Rock Villa, Abuja. The governor arrived at the Presidential Villa at about 6:45pm, according to the State House media office. The development also follows an earlier directive by the President summoning the governor for discussions over the worsening security situation in Plateau State. The President had described the killings as “barbaric and cowardly,” vowing that the perpetrators would not go unpunished. The Wednesday meeting is expected to focus on immediate security measures to prevent further attacks in Plateau.
