The National Police Service (NPS) flagged a notice circulating online calling Kenyans for recruitment to the service. Additionally, from the fake job listing, interested public members were expected to make submissions for 2022/2023 recruitment. "Interested and suitably qualified members of the public can apply for any of the positions available at Kenya Police Service," read part of the fake job listing. "Kindly note that KDF is not currently engaged in any recruitment exercise and be advised that KDF recruitment exercise is advertised through mainstream media," KDF stated.
