The Special Fraud Unit of the Nigeria Police has arraigned a United Arab Emirates-based Nigerian marketer, Jamiu Adewale, before a Lagos Federal High Court, over allegations of N5.2 million fraud. The police alleged that the defendant defrauded a Charter Accountant, Albert Olaniyi Folorunsho, the said sum between January and March 2021. The offences according to Mr Obiaze, are contrary to and punishable under sections 8(a); 1(1)(3)of the Advance Fee Fraud and other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006.
