GEORGE TOWN: Police are after an off-duty Johor-based immigration officer and three Nepalese men for their involvement in a brawl at a shophouse in Jalan Rumba, Bukit Jambul here today. According to the police statement, the 8.30am incident was sparked when one of the Nepalese men attacked the officer on the second floor of the shophouse. Earlier, the officer stopped a suspicious-looking Nepalese man and asked for his Enforcement Card (E-Card). At the same time, four unknown men storming into the shophouse to attack the Nepalese men. Northeast District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Anuar Omar said that the police are in the midst of identifying the four unknown men.
