— Police are searching for one or more suspects in connection with a shooting at a hotel in suburban Boston. Police say they initially responded to a reported “active shooter” situation at the Crown Plaza in Natick around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The hotel was evacuated while authorities searched for possible suspects. Natick Chief James Hicks says the victim told police he was walking in front of the hotel when a car approached him, so he moved into the hotel and a shot was fired. What prompted the shooting remains under investigation.
