The important point is what we are borrowing for, at what cost and our capacity to repay. It is important to state that the fact that someone is a technocrat does not automatically confer success on him. Unfortunately, many successful technocrats keep away from politics because they believe they are safer in their comfort zones. Charles de Gaulle also said that politics is too important to be left in the hands of politicians. With what I have seen in the political space, I encourage more people who have something to offer to join politics.
