ST Nicholas’ Home (SNH) in Penang has been ordered to close by the Health Ministry after several positive Covid-19 cases were detected at the premises. The home’s assistant general manager Carmen Chew said thus far, five positive cases were reported with two cases on Thursday and another three on Friday. “A total 52 residents and 17 staff members have been quarantined at the premises until Aug 12. “Most of the residents and staff members are fully vaccinated except those who are below 19 years old. “However, the chef who tested positive, has yet to receive his second dose.
