Argentina boss Jorge Sampaoli is looking for the pair to prove their fitness after an injury-ravaged 12 months as he looks to finalise his squad for Russia this summer. And 26-year-old Funes Mori has not played a senior game since tearing his meniscus whilst playing for Argentina in the 2-0 qualifying defeat in Bolivia almost a year ago. Sampaoli is keen to take both Rojo and Funes Mori to the World Cup, but is reluctant to name two players who have hardly featured this season.
