A limited television series about the Jeffrey Epstein scandal is currently in production, with Laura Dern set to star and director and producer Adam McKay serving as producer, according to Variety. Dern is slated to portray Brown in the series, in addition to serving as an executive producer. The series is described as a gripping drama that highlights the efforts of an investigative journalist who managed to uncover a secret deal Epstein made with federal prosecutors. Adam McKay and Kevin Messick, through their company Hyperobject Industries, are also executive producers, along with Julie K. Brown. If it does materialize, it will be the first drama to tackle the Epstein case, which has previously been explored in numerous documentaries and docudramas.
