DHAKA, Mar 8, 2026 (BSS) - Faisal Karim Masud and Alamgir Hossain, two main accused in the Shaheed Sharif Osman bin Hadi murder case, were detained in West Bengal, India today. On information from defense intelligence, accused shooter Faisal and associate Alamgir were detained from Bangaon area of the West Bengal, said a press release of the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) here. It was learned that Faisal and Alamgir were staying in different places after entering India following the killing of Hadi. A case was registered in this regard in the West Bengal. Further investigation is underway, the ISPR press release said.
