(Photo: Police Facebook page)A prisoner due to be released at the end of this month escaped from Klong Prem Central Prison in Bangkok on Tuesday morning. Kritsada Muangphrae, convicted of theft charges, fled around 9am while working in the car care zone inside the prison, Thai media reported. Pol Col Ittichet Wonghomhuan, chief of Prachachuen police station, said a hunt was underway for the escapee. Kritsada, from Bangkok’s Din Daeng district, was sentenced to six years in prison for theft.
