Like many others, I wonder sometimes about the relevance these eco-friendly days of a car such as the powerhouse Ford Puma ST petrol I’ve been testing. I consider the ‘standard’ Puma one of the best of its kind right now. It’s got enough power, poise, style and practicality to satisfy the vast majority of us. Now, I have to say that in whatever guise it comes, the Puma is just a lovely little crossover. Which is why giving the Puma the ST treatment can be partially justified as the advances will, it is hoped, trickle down into ordinary cars in the years to come.
