A private security guard hired by the family of actress-singer Sarah Geronimo reported to Taguig City police before dawn on Friday that he was punched by the popstar’s now husband-actor Matteo Guidicelli. Geronimo and Guidicelli were married in a civil wedding at Shangri-La without the knowledge of the singer’s parents. Tamara narrated that Geronimo’s mother, Divine, arrived unexpectedly, asking for a moment to talk to her daughter since she was not informed about the wedding. Upon seeing Divine, Guidicelli supposedly accused Tamara of informing Geronimo’s parents and punched the guard. However, Tamara chose not to file formal charges against Guidicelli.
