Microsoft at Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit on Tuesday announced the launch of 'Always Connected' PCs that run on Windows 10 on Arm-based Qualcomm SoCs with support for 4G LTE and battery life of more than 20 hours. Both laptops use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which also powers most of the high-end phones. The benefits of such machines are primarily LTE connectivity and long battery life, something that has prompted Qualcomm to call these machines always-connected computers. It also comes with a battery that can keep the laptop going for 22 hours if you are playing a video on it - in normal use, battery life is expected to be more - and 30 days of standby battery life. HP claims that the Envy X2 will offer battery life of around 20 hours.
