RWA poised to enlarge reach of book bank project

Bhavani Sankar Iyer, Proprietor of Chennai-based Manasamithra, came forward to contribute ₹1 lakh each for the RWA Book Bank, a project of RWA Educational and Health Charitable Trust run by the Gujarati community in Tiruchi district. “The RWA keeps purchasing new books as and when syllabi is changed,” Project Chairman Ashok Gandhi said. Deserving students received 1,433 books from P. Kumar, Member of Parliament, Tiruchi, during the function held at Shrimathi Indira Gandhi College. The RWA has been catering to UG students in arts and science colleges in and around Tiruchi city through its project.
