MAU: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi along with Ghulam Nabi Azad playing a dalit card chose to take lunch at a dalit's house in Baragaon village during his Kisan Yatra on Sunday.Rukmina Devi, wife of Swaminath Ram served roti and potato chokha to them when they went to the dalit ghetto. "First we offered them gur and water when they came to our house," said Rukmina, mother of three daughters and a son. For the first time such a VIP guest visited their house, said his wife showing the food she had served to Rahul and Azad. Though Rahul wished a happy living to them, but did not make any promise.However, the lunch programme at dalit house was pre planned. Swaminath said that a member of UPCC asked him two days earlier to get ready to host Rahul.
