A Scottish Cup winners medal won over 120 years ago by one of Rangers' greatest ever players could fetch up to £3,000 at auction in Glasgow this month. The gold medal was presented to Neil 'Neilly' Gibson after Gers' 2-0 cup final victory over Hearts at Celtic Park on April 25, 1903. In a decade at Ibrox he won four league titles, three Scottish Cups and the Glasgow Cup five times before joining Partick Thistle in 1904. Rangers won the Scottish Cup in 1903 after defeating Hearts 2-0 in a second replay after the sides had previously drawn 1-1 and 0-0. On route to the final, they defeated Glasgow rivals Celtic 3-0 in the quarter final and Stenhousemuir 4-1 in the semi.
