Rangers win Dundee battle over travel costs as SPFL come down on Dens Park outfit again

Dundee will have to cover Rangers' travel costs after an SPFL hearing ruled in favour of the Ibrox side over compensation. The Light Blues suffered two postponed Premiership clashes at Dens Park last season on March 17 and April 10 with the Ibrox side travelling on both occasions before the match was called off. The fixture was eventually played at the third attempt on April 17 - with a contingency plan in place to use St Johnstone's McDiarmid Park had Dens once again been deemed unfit for purpose on the night. They then demanded the cover of their travel and overnight expenses with Dundee vowing to fight the claim for compensation. They have also been forced to shell out £15K to St Johnstone's costs in getting their stadium set if required and now they've got the Rangers hotel and expenses on top.
