For the weekend of Dec. 9, Streamline is recommending “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” in the Amazon top spot for the second time in a row. Amy Sherman-Palladino’s new show is a critical hit and debuted just in time for her to win the holiday streaming season in back-to-back years (her “Gilmore Girls” revival debuted around this time in 2016). Rachel Brosnahan is fantastic in the lead role. Her most notable role before this was in “House of Cards,” now a hellfire of controversy. So, it’s surely welcome that this new show is making her a star in her own right.
