The meeting saw an exchange of knowledge with executives of leading retail enterprises from Hong Kong’s Times Square shopping centre, ION Orchard shopping centre in Singapore, Taipei 101 in Taiwan, and Parco department store in Japan. The executives discussed consumer behaviour and formulated a joint strategy for steady growth in retail. Noting that people could now travel easily from country to country, “collaboration with international business partners to learn about consumer behaviour and collaboration on regional retail promotion is an important strategy to drive business growth”. Siam Piwat and its partners have joined forces to create “Global Privilege Partnership” campaign, giving privileges to 20 million customers worldwide.
