The family of Richard Lee “Dick” Delp is deeply saddened to announce his passing peacefully at home on May 10, 2023. Three months shy of 94, Dick was born August 30, 1939 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, to Lewis Edward and Sarah Rosetta Delp. The second youngest of eleven children, 4 sisters and 6 brothers all of whom predeceased him, Dick grew up in Avalon, a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A long-time parishioner of St. John’s Methodist Church, Dick held onto his faith throughout his life. In addition to his parents and siblings, Dick was predeceased by his oldest son David of Phoenix, Arizona.
