Oluwatosin OmojuyigbeA teenager, Ledisi Kote, is currently battling for his life at an undisclosed hospital after some personnel of the Rivers State Police Command allegedly shot his leg for impregnating a girl. It was gathered that the policemen went into Ledisi’s room, brought him out and shot him in the leg. Loanyie, who demanded justice for the victim, noted that Ledisi would have to undergo three surgeries before he could walk again. One of the officers shot his son on the leg simply because he impregnated a girl. When contacted by PUNCH Metro, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Nnamdi Omoni, confirmed the incident and stated that the officer who shot the teenager had been arrested.
