Rizvi also said the attack on BNP’s candidate in Shariatpur 3 constituency, Miah Nuruddin Ahmed Apu, was pre-planned. “The government is spending money on law enforcement agencies. The senior BNP leader said: “The BNP candidates and their followers come under attack during their election campaigning, nationwide, every day. Harassment and arrests by law enforcement agencies are ongoing nationwide,” he said. The senior BNP leader also demanded the immediate release of all arrested BNP leaders and activists.
