In Naogaon, a motorcyclist was killed after a head-on collision with a pickup van at Nij Mohanogor on the Deluabari-Choubaria road in Manda upazila. In Moulvibazar, a woman was hit and killed by a brick-laden pickup van at New Line Road in Kulaura upazila. According to eyewitnesses, Omar got on the bus at the Chandra bus stop but the helper pushed him off. After protests erupted on the roads, police seized the bus but failed to detain the driver and the helper. Two people were killed and four more injured when a CNG autorickshaw collided with a bus in Laksam, Comilla.
