GettySeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson had previously set an April 15 deadline to sign a contract extension with the team. ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted that Wilson got $140 million over four seasons with a whopping $65 million signing bonus. GettyWilson’s average of $35 million bests the four-year, $134 million deal Aaron Rodgers signed with the Green Bay Packers last August.
