Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) National Organizer MP Tissa Attanayake yesterday (02) stated that all elements of the Opposition will be brought under a wide alliance named the Samagi Jana Bala Sandanaya. Attanayake elaborated that the purpose of this move would be to contest for the next Presidential election in 2025. Attanayake mentioned that the United National Party (UNP) can also join this alliance in order to field a common candidate for the next Presidential election. There will be a time in the country soon in which we all can work together,” he said. Further, he highlighted that Wikremesinghe can make contributions to this broader alliance.
