Veteran film producer and screenwriter Salim Khan who was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) morning for a brain haemorrhage has been placed on ventilator support as a “safeguard and for stability”, Dr. Jalil Parkar, pulmonologist, said on Wednesday (February 18, 2026). The team of doctors who performed a DSA (digital subtraction angiography) procedure on Salim Khan confirmed that his condition is stable and under observation. Mr. Khan, who is 90 years old, was brought to Lilavati Hospital by his physician on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) morning. Soon after a team of doctors, including cardiologist Dr. Nitin Dange, cardiologist Dr. Ajit Menon, neurologist Dr. Dinesh Chavan, and others, performed a DSA procedure on him. After Mr. Khan was hospitalised, several Indian celebrities and his family members, including his sons Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, daughter Alvira, sons-in-law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma, and others were seen leaving the hospital.
