LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar on Wednesday said all powers in the province rest with Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, dismissing reports of any differences with the provincial leadership. Meanwhile, Sarwar told a news channel last week that he wasn’t redundant enough to watch Tareen call all the shots in Punjab. Addressing the presser on Wednesday, Sarwar also dismissed reports of him quitting as Punjab governor. Sarwar maintained that had his directions been implemented, the PTI would have grabbed a two-thirds majority in the 2018 general elections from Punjab. He also announced a complete disassociation with charity organisation Sarwar Foundation, saying he would not take part in any fundraising event until he was posted as the governor.
