In 2016 John founded Business Fives, his corporate charity football events business, which he will be seen pitching to the four potential investors. The company has brought together more than 5,000 companies across the UK to raise over £1 million for charity through the power of workplace sport. They run structured, professionally delivered football, golf, mixed touch rugby and esports events for businesses in cities across the UK and Ireland. He initially worked alone, building the business up from scratch before scaling to get the firm to where it is today. John said: “Stepping into the Den was one of the best things I’ve ever done in business and it was an amazing experience to present the journey of Business Fives so far to entrepreneurs who I have respected and held in high regard for many years.
